The Whooper Swan is still on the wader scrape and as can be seen on the photos there is some loss of flight feathers on the right wing, perhaps from an injury. Photos from Dave Smith.
Also of note today a 'Cream Crown' Marsh Harrier north at 11.00hrs and a Treecreeper in the car park (Les & Andrew Corrall).
A male Cuckoo sang and a Swift flew south this evening. A Mink was also seen in the main scrape near the sluice gate (Dave Standish).
Meanwhile, at Ferrymoor Flash the Oystercatcher is still sitting (CG).
