Barnsley Council Rangers hard at work cutting back overhanging trees on the embankment to let some light in for wildflowers etc.
There is very little in the way of wildfowl at the moment except for the Whooper Swan, a Cormorant, a few Teal, Mallard, Gadwall and Water Rail. Both immature Buzzards were present (Chris Parkin).
Both photographs by R.J. Boland (Parks Officer)
