Carlton Marsh

Both Pink Feet geese frequented a nearby horse pasture before alighting on the scrape for a wash and brush up. One is markedly larger than the other (K. Bannister).

A male Wheatear was found on a freshly harrowed field on the east bank, and a pair of Blackcaps were located near the ringing steps (the male sang). (Les & Andrew Corrall)

Also of note 2 Cetti's Warblers, Grey Wagtail and singing Tawny Owl, Goldcrest and Water Rail (CG).
