Nothing new in bird wise, but the Primroses are showing well now near the School Pond.

Speckled Wood 

There is a very dark Fox in this shot if you look closely (both photographs by Simon Cox) 

 

 Storrs Mill to Ardsley Viaduct (via River Dearne)

1 Redshank, 2 Goosander, 2 Grey Wagtail, 1 Little Egret, 2 Lapwing, 4 Buzzard, 3 Red -legged Partridge, Kestrel and Sparrowhawk.

Butterflies included 45 Peacock, 21 Small Tort., 3 Comma, 22 Speckled Wood, 9m Brimstone, 37 Orange-tip, 6 Large White + 45 unidentified White species and 2 Green Shield Bug (Chris Parkin).
