Anglers CP Highlights: A SHORT-EARED OWL , in wing moult and tailless, flew around high up while being mobbed by corvids at 11.06. It dropped into a grass field north of the lake at 11.15 hrs. A Hobby was seen at 10.30 and a Shelduck flew in at 10.55hrs.
Also here: Wigeon 16, Shoveler 37,Teal 3, Swift 1 and Little Grebe with 2 very small young. Male Brimstone butterfly.
Wintersett Res: Grey Partridge 1 adult + 2 juveniles. Willow Warbler 5 ringed, Chiffchaff 7 ringed, Whitethroat 3 ringed, Blackcap 1 ringed.
