All these migrants flooding into the country from the continent with a fantastic
number of birds grounded on the east coast - only to find that these are the
lucky ones as thousands upon thousands of birds are found dead in the sea along
the east and south coasts (see Birdguides article).
Are birders being wise when they celebrate 'falls' of birds such
as these?
