Edderthorpe, Thursday

The adultAmerican Golden Plover found its way to Edderthorpe this morning and was on the marsh with Golden Plovers at 09.00 before being flushed by a Sparrowhawk and heading back to Old Moor. There were 631 Golden Plovers here in the afternoon along with;- Curlew Sandpiper 1, Dunlin 24, Ruff 4, Black-tailed Godwit 3, Lapwing 320, Shelduck 2, Teal 241, Mallard 160, Shoveler 48, Wigeon 23.
