AGP Updated

The American Golden Plover remained on Wath Ings until around 2pm. Thanks to RSPB again for allowing us to keep the reserve open until dusk even though it was a 'no show' for those who took the opportunity. A couple of shots from today taken by Jim Thompson.

Although there was no sign of the AGP (and not many 'goldies' either)  for those of us present tonight, we were treated to a 'cream crowned' Marsh Harrier quartering Wath Ings which then startled a Bittern into submission, giving itself up by perching in the open in the middle of a bush for about an hour!
