Wintersett 17.10.14

No blog yesterday due to jaunting to Spurn where another fantastic birding day was had by all present.  Definitely the place to have been any day this week!    See http://www.spurnbirdobservatory.co.uk/sightings/ for full lists and photographs of Pallid Swift (which was one bird I didn't see!).

Back to today -Friday: 12°C, very mild, 0/8 and sunny but damp underfoot.
Anglers CP Vis Mig: 09.00 - 10.00   Redwing 40 W,  Starling 60 W.    Rod and Carol had 200 Pink-footed Geese over Old Royston at 09.00hrs.
