Hartcliff and nearby

On the hill this morning were c.200 Redwing, with at least 160 moving south, a mixed feeding flock including 12 Yellowhammers, with single Redpoll, Grey wag (probably a migrant as I'm not sure I've had them here before) Little Owl and Sprawk blogging.
A quick visit to Scout Dike early doors revealed a Redshank in the SW corner and a quick call to Royd Moor before home revealed single male Pochard and 4  Buzzards over together.
