Wombwell Ings - Present were 2+1y Mute Swan, c250 Canada Geese, 60+ Greylag, 47 Wigeon, 41 Mallard, 31 Teal, 8 Shoveler, 7 Gadwall, 5 Pochard, 1 Great White Egret, 1 Little Egret, 2 Grey Heron, 2 Little Grebe, 3 Moorhen, 2 Coot, 1 Sparrowhawk, 72 Lapwing, 9+ Snipe, 102 BH Gull, 3 Skylark, 2 Redwing and 2 Yellowhammer.
Broomhill Flash - The hide was demolished this morning. A viewing screen will be erected on Wednesday.
Bolton Ings - On the open water were 4a+4y Mute Swan, 15 Greylag, 21 Mallard, 13 Gadwall, 11 Tufted Duck, 5 Pochard, 3 Shoveler, 2 Cormorant, 3 Grey Heron, 19 Little Grebe, 4 Great Crested Grebe, 85 Coot, 2 Moorhen, 27 BH Gull, 4 Common Gull and 1 LBB Gull. Also present were 1 Buzzard, 1 Marsh Harrier, 1 Kestrel, 1 Jay, 2 Greater Spotted Woodpecker and 1 Green Woodpecker.
