No blog yesterday due to fantastic jaunt to Spurn. Highlights were Red-flanked Bluetail, Firecrest, American Golden Plover and Richard's Pipit.
7°C, cool and clear at dawn, with cloud slowly building and a light northerly.
Just a quick visit to Anglers this morning, before a very interesting Fungi Foray in Seckar Wood. At least three fungi were found that haven't been recorded here before.
Anglers CP: Little Grebe 8 and Cormorant 6.
Wintersett Res: A Brambling flew over the north bank at 07:25 hrs - per Steve Denny
Botany Bay: 150+ Gadwall, Wigeon and Shoveler feeding at dawn.
