Wombwell Ings - Highlight was a Garganey giving good views on the near edge of the water. Also present were 7 Mute Swan, 28 Greylag, 13 Mallard, 7+9y Gadwall, 3 Grey Heron, 1 Moorhen, 23 Lapwing, 2 Ringed Plover, 48 BH Gull, 3 Pied Wagtail and 9 Linnet.
Broomhill Flash - Noted were 6+2y Mute Swan, 43 Canada Geese, 1 Greylag, 15+7y Tufted Duck, 7 Gadwall, 5 Pochard, 4 Mallard, 22 Little Grebe, 1 Great Crested Grebe, 5 Little Egret, 1 Grey Heron, 113 Coot, 11 Moorhen, 1 Barn Owl, 73 Lapwing and 2 Pied Wagtail.
Bolton Ings - On the open water 2+6y Mute Swan, 164 Gadwall, 11+3y Tufted Duck, 12 Pochard, 6 Mallard, 12 Little Grebe, 3+2juv Great Crested Grebe, 1 Little Egret, 84 Coot, 1 Moorhen, 4 BH Gull and 2 LBB Gull. Singing males near the hide included 2 Blackcap, 1 Willow Warbler, 1 Whitethroat and 1 reeling Grasshopper Warbler. Also present were 2 Jay, c50 Sand Martin and 2 Bullfinch.
