A Bittern was seen on the main scrape from the hide at 16.55hrs. It flew from the disused railway side of the scrape to the opposite bank and 5 minutes later it took another flight to a reed bed a little further along. (Dave Smith)
Also present 3 Little Egret (wader scrape) 3 juv. Sparrowhawk, 3 Peregrine, 2 Water Rail and a Fox.
