Wombwell Ings - Present were 2 Mute Swan, 158 Canada Geese, 1 Greylag, 1 Shelduck, 16 Teal, 13 Shoveler, 13 Gadwall, 12 Wigeon, 5 Mallard, 1 Cormorant, 2 Grey Heron, 2 Moorhen, 312 Lapwing, 100+ Golden Plover, 103 BH Gull, 5 Common Gull, 1 male Stonechat and 1 Pied Wagtail. A Treecreeper, 2 Reed Bunting and 40+ Redwing were in Broomhill Park.
Broomhill Flash - Noted were 2+1 juv Mute Swan, 56 Canada Geese, 1 Greylag, 14 Shoveler, 14 Tufted Duck, 13 Teal, 2 Mallard, 1 Gadwall, 4 Cormorant, 1 Coot, 2 Moorhen, 30+ Lapwing, 52 BH Gull and 2 Common Gull.
Bolton Ings - On the open water were 22 Mute Swan, 1 Canada Goose, 5 Mallard, 5 Shoveler, 3 Tufted Duck, 2 female Goosander, 6 Cormorant, 2 Grey Heron, 355 Coot, 2 Herring Gull and 1 Common Gull. Also present were 1 Marsh Harrier, 1 Sparrowhawk, 1 Green Woodpecker, 1 Jay, 1 female Stonechat, 40+ Redwing, 20+ Fieldfare and 16+ Long Tailed Tit.
