Wombwell Ings - Present were 2 Mute Swan, 55 Canada Geese, 15 Greylag, 109 Wigeon, 29 Teal, 13 Mallard, 5 Gadwall, 4 Shoveler, 2 Cormorant, 1 Grey Heron, 1 Kestrel, 60+ Lapwing, 105 BH Gull, 1 Common Gull, 40+ Redwing, 5 Fieldfare and 2 Pied Wagtail. In the field to the north east of the Dearne Bridge, a Bean Goose was associating with 5 Pink Footed Geese amongst a flock of 191 Greylag and 180 Canada Geese.
Broomhill Flash - Noted were 31 Canada Geese, 20 Teal, 17 Tufted Duck, 11 Shoveler, 4 Mallard, 6 Cormorant, 1 Peregrine, 1 Barn Owl, 2 Coot, 1 Moorhen, 40+ Lapwing, 154 BH Gull, 10+ Common Gull and 2 Herring Gull.
Bolton Ings - On the open water were 2 Mute Swan, 11f+4m Goosander, 10 Mallard, 8 Tufted Duck, 5 Pochard, 2m+1f Goldeneye, 1 Little Grebe, 7 Cormorant, 1 Grey Heron, 398 Coot and 2 Common Gull. Also noted was 1 Sparrowhawk.
