Ewden valley, dukes road, mortimer road circ., Midhope res., 3/2/19.

Stunning views of the ewden valley in bright sunshine with a light covering of snow in the morning. Best bird here was a male Crossbill over calling towards broomhead. Pair of Ravens, 3 C Buzzards, Kestrel and GS Pecker the only birds on the walk. Male Goldeneye on midhope res. and a pair of Crossbills here. Heavy cloud cover and drizzle by 2-30pm.
