Wombwell Ings - 98% ice-covered. Present were 4 Mute Swan, 194 Canada Geese, 2 Greylag, 11 Mallard, 2 Teal, 1 Cormorant, 7 Moorhen, 84 Lapwing, 30+ Golden Plover, 88+ BH Gull, 2 Common Gull, 1 Mistle Thrush and 2 Reed Bunting. On the R. Dearne, near the bridge, were 3m+1f Goosander.
Broomhill Flash -  40% ice-covered. Noted were 100+ Canada Geese, 107 Wigeon, 38 Teal, 33 Mallard, 21 Gadwall, 7 Pochard, 6 Shoveler, 6 Tufted Duck, 8 Cormorant, 33 Coot, 1 Kestrel, 1 Sparrowhawk, 2 Lapwing, 202 BH Gull, 10 Common Gull, 7 Herring Gull, 2 LBB Gull and 1 Mistle Thrush.
Bolton Ings - On the open water were 5+3juv Mute Swan, 11 Greylag, 10 Canada Geese, 11 Pochard, 6 Mallard, 6 Gadwall, 3 Tufted Duck, 1f Goosander, 1 Teal, 11 Cormorant, 2 Grey Heron, 399 Coot, 15 Herring Gull, 7 Common Gull, 3 LBB Gull and 2 BH Gull.
