Today's highlights included 20 Fieldfare, 6 Common Gull, 3 Water Rail, 2 Cetti's, KIngfisher, 5 Siskin, 10 Skylark and 3 Cormorant (1 juv. with  BTO ring right leg) (JP/K. Bannister)

As dusk approached 6 Starling flew north quickly followed by c60 that dropped to reed bed level, but chose not to roost (CG).

Yesterday's Grass Snake showed again near Ralph's seat.
