A Little Ringed Plover, 4 Lapwings, a drake Teal and a Lesser Black-backed Gull were on the wader scrape this afternoon with a Mallard and her brood of 10.
The LBB Gull tried to nick one, but the female Mallard made sure it didn't.
A large female Grass Snake swam across the water.
