Bretton Lakes
38 Heron nests with sitting birds on both lakes, 1 "redhead" Smew on the lower lake, 77 Tufted Duck, 14 Goosander, 7 Gadwall, 16 Teal, 8 Great Crested Grebe, 13 Siskin and a Tawny Owl calling. Woodpeckers were noted for their absence today for some reason?
