Booming crackers?

Old Moor: Bittern heard 'booming' despite the weather, Marsh Harrier, Buzzard, Cormorant 14, Pink-footed Goose 2 west, Shoveler 73, Pintail female, Goosander 31, Goldeneye 5, Oystercatcher 2, Tree Sparrow 20 Yellowhammer 22, Reed Bunting 45.

This Marsh Harrier was seen throughout the day and roosted at the Reedbeds - Kieth Pickering
And news from Broomhead Monday included 3+ Two-barred Crossbill's, + Raven and a cock Black Grouse at Ewden Heights.

First record of Black Grouse since mid April 2013 to my knowledge. If anybody knows of any records in the intervening period would they pleaseleave a comment or let me know. Thanks.

I hope you get some more useful comments than this but I talked to a birder at the 2 bar site who had seen the male Black Grouse on a previous visit to see the 2 bars. Very imprecise but later than April 2013.
