Adwick

After calling in at Wombwell Ings again to witness the Ibis take flight and hover briefly, before alighting again, we called at Adwick to see the Garganey pair. Seen from a distance they conveniently disappeared from sight as we moved round. However, we did see a drake Teal, Wheatear, 2 Sand Martins, 2 Swifts, 2 pairs of Avocets and 2 Little Ringed Plovers. The site has great potential for the future thanks to the work of the DVGH Partnership.
