Edderthorpe, Sunday

Houghton Wash The Glossy Ibis is still present here. Some visitors are failing to find the bird as it feeds in the long grass, it favours the far end of the marsh feeding amongst the Mallard and Gadwall. One drake Garganey is still here and a Pink-footed Goose has joined the Greylag/Canada Goose flock. Edderthorpe Flash has even more water now and fewer birds. A single Ringed Plover and a few Redshank.
