Wintersett 18.10.14

A very mild 16°C start with 8/8 cloud.  Some sun later and a very light southerly.
Anglers CP Vis Mig 08.45 - 11.00hrs. There was a steady trickle of Redwings throughout the watch with a final total of 785 south.  Starling 95 west, Fieldfare 3 SW,  Brambling 1SE and Redpoll 1 south.
Anglers CP:  Rock Pipit 1.  A ringed Coot was seen - pink on left leg and white above metal on right leg.   Snipe 14,  Goldeneye 3,  Teal 17 and  Shoveler 57.
Wintersett Res: Water Rail 1.
Old Royston: Brian Lee had 250 Pink-footed Geese flying east at 17.20hrs.
Cold Hiendley Res: Tufted Duck 249 + 85 ACP.
A Common Darter was on ACP and there was a dead Hedgehog on Haw Park Lane.

This could be the bird we had in Oct 2010, except it had yellow below the pink? Could it have lost the yellow ring? I will submit it to see if it could be different - it was originally rung by Kane Brides in Cheshire.
