The first ground frost this morning. 3 degrees with thin high cloud and a light, but very cold, westerly.
Anglers CP + Vis. Mig: 06.45 - 08.30hrs. A good movement of Wood Pigeons with flocks at two heights on two flight paths. I couldn't count them all so a minimum total of 3580 going south. There were also a few flocks of mixed thrushes, more Fieldfare than Redwing, going south. 8 Goosander went west at 06.50hrs.
Anglers CP: The female/immature Common Scoter was still present at the southern end of the lake. The Little Egret was on the north bank late afternoon.
Wintersett Res: A Cetti's Warbler sang quietly on the dam wall bank, just before the bridge.
