There were 2 Redshanks and 39 Herring Gulls on the wader scrape this morning. Up to 5 singing Blackcaps and 2 Willow warblers.
As it warmed up at mid-day 3m Orange-tips and 3 Speckled Wood butterflies were on the wing.

On the lake 2 Redshanks, a Swallow and a stunning male Wheatear nearby (Les Corrall/Ralph Hibbert).
