Wombwell Ings - Present were 2 Mute Swan, 7 Canada Geese, 1 Greylag, 2 Shelduck, 15 Gadwall, 14 Tufted Duck, 6 Teal, 5 Mallard, 5 Shoveler, 2 Goosander, 12 Coot, 3 Moorhen, 4 Lapwing, 3 Common Sandpiper, 2 Little Ringed Plover, 2 Redshank, 1 Snipe, 13 BH Gull, 1 LBB Gull, 30+ Sand Martin, c10 House Martin, 8+ Skylark, 8 Yellow Wagtail, 2 Pied Wagtail, 2 Meadow Pipit, 1 Wheatear and 4 Linnet. In Broomhill Park were 2 Blackcap, 2 Chiffchaff and 1 Lesser Whitethroat.
Broomhill Flash - Noted were 2 Mute Swan, 31 Canada Geese, 19 Greylag, 23 Tufted Duck, 19 Gadwall, 10 Mallard, 2 Shoveler, 1 Teal, 1 Pochard, 1 Little Grebe, 1 Cormorant, 26 Coot, 2 Moorhen, 1 Peregrine, 1 Sparrowhawk, 1 Kestrel, 4 Lapwing, 2 Oystercatcher, 1 Whimbrel and 1 LBB Gull.
TPT - Singing males 7 Chiffchaff, 7 Blackcap, 6 Willow Warbler and 3 Whitethroat.
Bolton Ings - On the open water were 6 Mute Swan, 8+2y Greylag, 5 Canada Geese, 11 Tufted Duck, 8 Gadwall, 3m+2f Pochard, 3 Mallard, 4 Great Crested Grebe, 1 Little Grebe, 2 Cormorant, 54+5y Coot, 2 LBB Gull and 1 Common Gull. A Grasshopper Warbler was reeling in front of the hide. Also present were1 Little Egret over west, 1 Grey Heron, 3 Buzzard, 1 Kestrel, 1 Green Woodpecker and 1 Jay.
