Wombwell Ings - Present were 1 Mute Swan, 51 Canada Geese, 4 Greylag, 2 Shelduck, 111 Wigeon, 15 Teal, 14 Shoveler, 8 Tufted Duck, 7 Gadwall, 6 Mallard, 4 Goosander, 5 Grey Heron, 14 Coot, 2 Moorhen, 1 Water Rail ( in dyke opposite Old Moor Tavern ), 5 Redshank, 4 Lapwing, 2 Oystercatcher, 61 BH Gull, 10+ Sand Martin, 4 Skylark, 3 Pied Wagtail and 3 Reed Bunting. K. Fisher also noticed a Harris Hawk being mobbed by corvids at 9.30am.
Broomhill Flash - Noted were 3 Mute Swan, 43 Canada Geese, 3 Greylag, 26 Gadwall, 23 Tufted Duck, 18 Teal, 11 Wigeon, 6 Mallard, 5 Shoveler, 4 Pochard, 2 Little Grebe, 2 Little Egret, 1 Grey Heron, 1 Buzzard, 35 Coot, 8 Lapwing, 3 Oystercatcher, 1 Redshank, 200+ BH Gull and 2 LBB Gull. P. Kent also had a female Wheatear in the back field.
TPT - 9 singing Chiffchaff, 1 Blackcap, 2 yaffling Green Woodpecker and 1 Reed Bunting.
Bolton Ings - On the open water were 11 Mute Swan, 8 Greylag, 6 Canada Geese, 9 Mallard, 6 Gadwall, 5 Pochard, 4 Tufted Duck, 2f Goosander, 6 Great Crested Grebe, 3 Little Grebe, 1 Cormorant, 78+3y Coot, 150+ BH Gull and 15 Herring Gull. Also present were 2 Buzzard, 1 Grey Wagtail, 1 Sand Martin and 2 Bullfinch.
