Wombwell Ings - Present were 5 Mute Swan, 16 Canada Geese, 2 Shelduck, 21 Mallard, 15 Gadwall, 2 Shoveler, 1 Teal, 1 Tufted Duck, 1 Cormorant, 1 Coot, 6+ Lapwing, 6 Avocet, 4 Little Ringed Plover, 1 Redshank, 33 BH Gull, c50 Swift, 5+ Skylark, 1 Pied Wagtail, 1 Lesser Whitethroat and 1 Reed Bunting.
Broomhill Flash - Noted were 2 Mute Swan, 21 Canada Geese, 2 Shelduck, 24 Tufted Duck, 12 Gadwall, 11 Tufted Duck, 2 Pochard, 1 Little Grebe, 3 Little Egret, 1 Grey Heron, 32 Pochard, 2 Moorhen, 5+1y Lapwing, 1 Oystercatcher, 3 LBB Gull and 1 Pied Wagtail.
TPT - Singing males 6 Blackcap, 6 Chiffchaff, 5 Willow Warbler, 2 Whitethroat, 1 Sedge Warbler, 1 Song Thrush and 1 yaffling Green Woodpecker.
Bolton Ings - On the open water were 9+5y Mute Swan, 20 Greylag, 1 Canada Goose, 17 Tufted Duck, 6m+1f Pochard, 5 Gadwall, 2 Mallard, 3 Great Crested Grebe, 2+2y Little Grebe, 1 Cormorant, 69+4y Coot and 2 LBB Gull. Also present were 1 Bittern (flew in at 12.30pm), 3 Buzzard, 1 Kestrel and 2 Oystercatcher over west.
