Jack Snipe - typically flushed within feet of where I stood, flew a few metres up the path where flushed again and flew to marshy area a few metres away. New patch tick.
Sand Martin - 1 flew east, Cuckoo,
Ring Ouzel - male with Fieldfare, Fieldfare c50, Redstart, 2 Green Woodpecker, Stonechat, 10 Linnet, Tree Pipit, Grey Heron over, 2 Goldcrest singing, Tawny Owl calling, assumed young nearby.
