Cloudy but dry with good light. Slow start but ended a good raptor day with 6 species. Marsh Harrier 1, Red Kite 2, C Buzzard 6, Hobby at least 1, Merlin 1 fem, juv type, Kestrel 3. Raven 3+, Stonechat 8/9, Curlew 5 getting fewer, a small party of 4 Swifts south. Meadow Pipit c 22, Linnet flock 21, Siskin 3, Reed Bunting 1 still singing, Swallow 2 at the lodge. 2 Spotted Flycatchers still near gate.
