A Grey Wagtail was present along with 6 Banded Demoiselles and a Brown Hawker (K. Bannister).
2 Common Lizards resting on a log on Cudworth Common was a first! (Graham Laverack).
Last night (14th) at Carlton Marsh a Tawny Owl flew across the scrape at dusk and a Pipistrelle was out and about.
Our moth session began at 22.15hrs and concluded at 01.30hrs. The highlights were The Suspected (2nd ever record) and Coronet, which is new for the reserve. Also of note Dingy Shears, Poplar Hawk Moth, Silky Wainscot, Engrailed, Buff Arches, July Highflyer, Scarce Footman, Short Cloaked, Toadflax Pug and the V Pug. 46 Species of macro 13 micros (Chris Parkin/Dave Smith/CG).
