A Redshank flew east on Saturday 26th (JP).
73 Species were recorded during February, which is well above average for this site, but still 4 short of the phenomenal February of 2021. Still a great effort everybody, thank you.
Today Little Egret. 9 Tufted Duck, 18 Canada geese, 6 Greylags, 20 Teal, Little Egret, Green Woodpecker, 1 Linnet north, 2 Siskin, 3 Redwing south and Coal Tit (L & A Corrall/CG).
Ardsley Viaduct area
Red-legged and Grey Partridge, 12 Lapwing, Greenfinch and a pair of Goosander on the Dearne.
2 Comma butterflies were on the wing in the sunshine.
Littleworth Park-Monk Bretton
Frogspawn was found (C. Parkin)
