There were c300 Canada Geese on the scrapes with 9 Shovelers, a Grey Wagtail and a Water Rail that showed for about 5 minutes.
The Common Sandpiper was still on the wader scrape with 3 Green Sandpipers, the highest count here since August 1994 when there were 6! (R. Laverack/ L & A Corrall).
