c300 Canada Geese were on the wader scrape at first light, along with a Little Egret, the Common Sandpiper and the 3 Green Sandpipers.
A Water Rail called and 2 Skylarks and 3 Swallows were moving south.
Insects included a few Large White, 1 Meadow Brown, 3 Comma, 1 Red Admiral, and 3 Willow Emeralds near the hide on a Buddleia (R. Laverack/J. Finch/C. Parkin/CG).
