3 Swallows south skirting the ground were in a hurry. 2 Skylarks and a Blackcap called and a Cetti's Warbler sang. c100 Canada Geese were on the scrapes with 7 Shoveler and a Cormorant.
Insects included 1 Painted Lady, 6 Red Admiral, 15 Comma, 13 Speckled wood, 15 Small Copper, 4 Large white, 2 Small White, 1 Green-veined White and 2 Southern Hawkers (C. Parkin).
