This mornings ringing produced 11 Blackcaps, 4 Reed Warblers, 2 Chiffchaffs and 2 Cetti's Warblers. A singing male was nearby (CG).
Cetti's WarblerThe Common Sandpiper was still on the wader scrape with 2 Lapwings.
On the main scrape and other pools 4 Shoveler, Cormorant and Kingfisher (R. Laverack).
A Stonechat was found in a hedgerow on fields to the east (M. White).
This evening there were 2 Common Sandpipers, 120 Canada Geese, 2 Water Rails called as did a female Tawny Owl (D Standish).
