Edderthorpe, Saturday pm

Good numbers of wildfowl on the Flash but it's looking bleak for waders (except Lapwing). Highlight this afternoon was a juvenile Mediterranean Gull amongst the Black-heads. Canada Goose 303, Greylag Goose 105, Gadwall 248, Shoveler 76, Teal 66, Wigeon 5, Pochard 6, Little Egret 4, Lapwing 932, Sand Martin 500 were pushed low over the Flash with the shower just before 17.00, Yellow Wagtail 2. Plenty of warblers moving along the railway embankment - Garden Warbler 1, Whitethroat 4, Blackcap 6, Willow Warbler 6, Chiffchaff 1.
