A brief visit to Hartcliff this morning before nipping over to Winscar. The hill was virtually birdless, but just as I was about to leave 3 common buzzards, a peregrine and 2 ravens put on a brief display. Soaring birds obviously like this spot and there must have been serious up draughts today. This'll be where the Black Kite comes over in April then! Hee, hee.
Sounds like a Rough-leg may have flown up the Don Valley earlier. Car trouble meant I wasn't going to see this! If only everything in life was as reliable as a Volkswagen, eh?
Cheers
