Ewden cabin and return, 14/7/16.

Midday till 3-30 ish. Quite breezy but warm and dry with spells of sun. Very steady with a Merlin hunting and chasing in the white carr area. Kes 5+ with 3 together on the way up. Scarce for Buzzard with only 1 and same for Raven with just 1 spending most of its time on the ground. The noisey pair of Stonechats still at the s bends with the male still in top plumage. 3 Siskin over.

Aye Stu make the most of the Buzzards & Ravens. These young uns are a bit keen. What will it be next after them. Maybe Kestrels & Merlins. Wont be long now under there's just GROUSE, Grouse and passerines.
