Wombwell Ings - Present were 2 Mute Swan, 268 Canada Geese, 123 Greylag, 106 Gadwall, 25 Shoveler, 11 Teal, 7 Wigeon, 4 Tufted Duck, 3 Mallard, 1 Cormorant, 5 Little Egret, 1 Grey Heron, 68 Lapwing, 3 Snipe, 1 Dunlin, 1 Green Sandpiper, 1 calling Greenshank, 3 BH Gull and 8 Yellow Wagtail.
Broomhill Flash - There was a large number of geese swimming too and fro over the flash, a mitigating fact against trying to make an accurate count. Noted were 2+6y Mute Swan, 345 Mallard, c20 Gadwall, 9 Shoveler, 6 Tufted Duck, 5 Pochard, 2 Teal, 17 Little Grebe, 5 Cormorant, 4 Little Egret, 71 Coot, 7 Moorhen, 1 LBB Gull, 1 Swift and 3+ Yellow Wagtail.
Old Moor - Best of a rare visit were 7 Dunlin, 4+ Green Sandpiper, 3 Greenshank, 3 Ruff, 2 Common Sandpiper, 1 Ringed Plover, 1 Marsh Harrier, 1 Hobby, 1 Kestrel, 1 Sparrowhawk, 3+ Swift and 1 Water Rail.
