Carlton Marsh

This morning Lesser Whitethroat, Great Spot Woodpecker juv, flew past the hide, Cetti's Warbler, 3 LBB Gulls, resident Buzzard and Kestrel, 3 Lapwings, 3 Stock Doves, Little Grebe sang and just 1 Swallow.

A Red-eared Terrapin was also basking in the scrape (Les & Andrew Corrall)

A small Common Toad was found on the embankment (Karen Pickard)

The insect looks like Thick Legged Flower Beetle (Oedemera nobilis). Might be worth sending in the record.
