Quiet on the bird front. Insects included 44 Meadow Brown, 32 Speckled Wood, 3 Large Skipper, 3 Dingy Skipper, 43 Common Blue, 1 Red Admiral, 1 Holly Blue, 1 Brown Argus and 17 Small Heath butterflies.
Also of note Golden-bloomed Grey Long Horn Beetle, 1m Emperor, 1m Black-tailed Skimmer, 1 Squash Shield Bug (new for this site) and 10 Burnet Companion (C. Parkin/L & A Corrall).

Dabchick and Goldcrest singing, Grey Wagtail and 4 LBB Gulls.
Also 1m Orange-tip, 3 Large Red Damsel, 1m 1f Emperor and 1m Banded Agrion (L & A Corrall/CG).
