Observers - C.Nickerson, S Green. Bad for the midges but good birding with a unexpected Hobby hawking insects at dusk. Nightjar 2 probably 3, Woodcock 3, Tawny Owl 1 heard. Long Eared Owl 4, 2 ad and 2 juvs. Barn Owl 2 with 1 at Gilbert Hill and the other over Renald Lane, Hoylandswaine.
