2 Bitterns were sat up in reeds in the west bank Marsh at 06.20hrs. Photo -Steve. Denny
A male Cuckoo was calling from the south bank at 11.20hrs, then from Pits Wood.
It flew over the north bank at 12.10hrs.
2 Red Kites flew over south at 10.40hrs.

4 fledged CHRes. and 5 + 4 fledged young WRes..

42 birds were ringed this morning at Wintersett Clump:
Highlights were: 14 Chiffchaff, 2 Blackcap, 1 Sedge Warbler, 2 Blackcap
and 1 Sedge Warbler.
