Sunday Roost - Wintersett 15th Sept

Gulls were split between the two large lakes again, the Country Park birds moving to the Top Reservoir just as darkness fell.

Lesser-black Backed Gulls were in excess of 400 again. Yellow-legged Gulls consisted of at least 2 x adults, 2 x 1st winters and a second winter. 3 Common Gulls also joined the roost.
Star bird, however, was a first winter Caspian Gull that was found in the Top Res roost at 19.15 hrs.

The  25th Wintersett Annual report
is now available from Anglers CP Visitor Centre £5.
