Broomhill Flash: The
3 Black-necked Grebes were on the open water just prior to 8am but rather bizarrely were not seen prior or subsequently to my knowledge. Also on at the time were 2 Little Egrets, 3 Spot Reds, 2 Greenshank and a Kingfisher.
Old Moor: The Spoonbill is still present. Also 4 Little Egrets and 3 Spot Reds (minimum area total of 6).
A skein of c25 Pink-feet flew northwest over Thurnscoe a c8.30 am.
