Main Marsh - Mute Swan 27, Wigeon 1, Teal 9, Oystercatcher 10 (12 on Golf Course earlier - Chris Harris), Green Sandpiper 4, Common Sandpiper 1, Greenshank heard, Barn Owl 1.
Roost in Willows on Willow Pool - Cormorant 3, Little Egret 14 came in between 20.31 and 21.51 as follows - 1 at 20.31, 1 at 20.48, 1 at 20.59, 1 at 21.21, 1 at 21.31, 4 at 21.32, 3 at 21.33, 1 at 21.37 and finally the last 1 at 21.51. Brilliant, Little Egrets usually peak around August Bank Holiday, 22 last year , could we have more this year?
