Wombwell Ings mid AM- Present were 3 Grey Heron, 6 Little Egret, 5 Mute Swan, 29 Greylag, 21 Canada Geese, 31 Mallard, 7 Gadwall, 1 Garganey, 68 Lapwing, 5 Little Ringed Plover, 1 Ringed Plover, 1 Greenshank, 7+ Pied Wagtail, 2+ Yellow Wagtail, 3+ Linnet and 1 Kingfisher.
Broomhill Flash late AM- Noted were 1 Grey Heron, 20 Little Grebe ( 30 on Wed. evening by J.Seeviour ), 1 Black Necked Grebe, 1 Mute Swan + 2 cygnets , 37 Canada Geese, 10a+15y Gadwall, 17 Tufted Duck, 9 Mallard,1 Pochard, 1 Barn Owl hunting over tip, 8 Snipe, 1 Red Legged Partridge , 1 Yellow Wagtail and 3 Mistle Thrush in Clegg's Meadow.
TPT-1 Chiffchaff, 1 Whitethroat, 1 Grey Heron, 1 Jay , 1 Greater Spotted Woodpecker and 1 Green Woodpecker.
Bolton Ings late AM/early PM- On the open water were 7 Little Grebe, 5a+1y Great Crested Grebe, 2 Mute Swan + 8 cygnets, 69 Gadwall, 7a+6y Tufted Duck, 8 Pochard, 5 Mallard, 2 Wigeon and 1 Shoveler. Also present were 3 Cormorant, 1 Grey Heron, 1 Kestrel, 1 LBB Gull, and 1 Grey Wagtail.
